Move to Folder > SEARCH (not scroll) + Add Folder function.

Team, One of the most intuitive and useful features of the last three iterations of NEWTON was the ability to save emails into their folders. The feature allowed for FOLDER creation inside of Newton that translated back to the account. The folders were also searchable, allowing us to avoid having to scroll through long lists of categorized emails. Can we bring these features back? It's key to being able to sort and file emails to get to that satisfying ZERO INBOX experience. Or at least allow us to PIN the folders to the left sidebar to drag and drop after scrolling.

Sanjay - thanks for the reply. When I am on Desktop - the LEFT nav bar is on permanent auto hide. So there is no Locked left menu to scroll through folders to easily drag and drop from inbox to folders. When I clock on the Move to folder icon, it does populate the full list of folders. Whats missing is the ability to just begin typing the name of the folder to have it 1. pull up the desired folder for a quick "enter" to move the email into its folder or 2. If it's not there, keep typing and hit enter to CREATE the folder. This FAST management was present in the older versions. Key feature. If you have a DMG of an older version Im happy to set it up and screen record what was there, whats missing now... and what would be helpful to bring back.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, a clean zero-inbox flow is exactly what we're after! 🙌 Folder/label search is already available across Desktop, iOS, and Android, and you can create folders right from the side navbar or the Control Panel at newtonhq.com. (mobile will have create option soon) We've also added custom icons to make folders easier to spot at a glance. Could you let me know where search feels like it's missing for you, so we can dig in?

I would like to be able to search across emails for certain names/numbers/emails etc. For instance, I want to search for all emails that came from john@joedirt.com and see everything that he has sent me. Or if I am looking for a PO#, I want to be able to search all my emails for PO# 8765309 etc. I am using Spark right now full time until Newton is ready, and they do the search functionality really well.
