Search in Inbox window
Can you add search to one of the tools at the top of the inbox as opposed to having to get to the folder part of the menu on the bottom.

We're reworking the whole search experience, not just moving the button — where it lives, how you get to it, and how it behaves once you're in it. In the meantime, Cmd+F opens search from anywhere. That should unblock you today.
